A WORD FROM CARROLL SHELBY
Have you noticed that it’s tough finding quality performance parts to build a reliable FE engine? I have and I decided to do something about it by introducing my own line of Shelby FE performance parts. I worked with my design staff to build the best, because my name is on them. My racing legacy with FE performance engines extends back to my race winning 427 Cobras and GT-40 Mk.IV racers that won LeMans. Three decades later, my new Shelby FE parts utilize proven design refinement to create FE performance parts for the new millennium.
My catalog illustrates an overall selection of parts available, but we can supply complete engines or parts from oil pan to carburetor to build your own Shelby 427 FE aluminum or cast iron engine just the way you want it. Call and speak directly to our engine department with your tech questions and orders. You have my name on it.

Fully redesigned, the Shelby 427 Alloy FE block is 45 percent lighter, yet stronger than the factory cast iron version. It retains original factory engine mounting bosses and bell housing bolt pattern, making it a bolt-in replacement for 390/427/428 cast iron Fe blocks. The Shelby FE block is fully CNC machined and comes ready for engine assembly.
Shelby FE Aluminum Heads are cast from A-356 aluminum, heat treated to T-6 hardness level and precision CNC machined. pattered on Ford's famous 427 FE medium-raiser cast iron heads, Shelby FE offers leading edge air flow improvements, starting with standards 2.250- inch intake and 1.750-inch exhaust valve diameters. Due to valve size, heads are suitable only for Shelby 427 Alloy FE or factory 427 cast iron blocks. Heads utilize a 14mm diameter,3/4 -inch reach, gasketed spark plugs positioned in the stock location. they are sold in pairs, complete or bare. Bare heads come with ready-to-run valve seats, so you just add valve components and go. All Shelby heads are pressure checked.
SHELBY CONNECTING RODS
For high rpm power levels, Shelby FE Competition Connecting Rods are available in H or I-beam cross section, for engine builders expressing a preference. The rods provide ultimate durability, rather than depending on decades old, remanufactured OE rod forgings. Rods are offered in standard 6.489-inch FE center-to-center length or custom lengths to fit stroker applications.
